The Two Rites

One arena. Two ways to be the last one standing.

The Mimic Rite: every round, the monstrous MOROS casts a single spell. Read it, answer with the matching spell before the timer runs out — and past the tenth round, darkness falls and only sound remains. The Molten Rite: no boss — just you, your rivals, and a stone platform melting into a sea of lava. Aim your spells, knock them off, and don't get launched yourself: the more you're hit, the farther you fly.

I

The boss casts

Quake, storm, or fireball erupts from the beast at the center of the ritual arena. The tell is the spell itself.

II

You answer

Three runes, one window. Cast the matching spell in time. Wrong rune or a heartbeat too slow, and the rite claims you.

III

The circle tightens

In the Mimic Rite the window narrows and darkness falls; in the Molten Rite the platform melts away beneath you. Either way, sorcerers fall one by one until a single caster remains.

The Three Spells

Learn their shapes. Your life is measured in reflexes.

Quake

The ground splits and heaves. In the Molten Rite, a radial burst that shoves everyone near you.

Storm

Lightning erupts in jagged pillars. In the Molten Rite, a lance from your hand to wherever you aim.

Fireball

A volley of burning spheres, trailing smoke and ember. In the Molten Rite, a hurled meteor that sends rivals flying.

The Trials

Rise through the ranks. Wear your legend.

Ranked seasons

Bronze to Master

A hidden Glicko-2 rating decides your tier. Two-month seasons, placement trials, and exclusive rewards for those who endure.

Covens & rivals

Duel your friends

Find fellow sorcerers by name, summon them into a private coven, or face live rivals in the Trial of Three and Trial of Five.

Five magicians

Choose your sorcerer

Emberweaver, Frostcaller, Stormbinder, Shadowmender, Runewarden — each with their own regalia to earn and wear.

Practice

Train against constructs

Hone your reflexes solo against summoned constructs — Novice, Adept, or Archon — before you enter the ranked trials.

OVERCAST key art: a sorcerer in a crimson, ember-lit cloak stands before the molten arena, a lava-wreathed citadel burning on the horizon
The Molten Rite — the platform melts, the citadel watches.

Summon. Battle. Conquer.

Stand at the edge of the melt.

Choose your sorcerer, answer the boss rune for rune, and hold the shrinking stone while rivals fall into the fire around you. Every match ends the same way — one caster left standing, and a ladder that remembers it.

The rite awaits
